Throughout my life I have been taught to not hide who I am. I hope that I can leave a legacy of courage and individuality. Just like this lone red leaf, sometimes being yourself and standing up for what you believe in can be difficult, but it is always beautiful. |

My legacy is individuality, and acceptance for others’ unique individual traits. Not one sunset will ever be the same. Be it the weather, location, or even the unique eyes that witness it. Like a sunset, everybody is unique and their individuality grows with every eye that meets them. |

As Einstein said, problems cannot be solved by the same level of thinking that created them. Knowing this, I hope to identify problems and creatively solve them as past scientists have. I hope the legacy I leave is a world better understood than when I began my scientific career. |

I am building my career around research and policy addressing urban youth homelessness using creative tools from geography, human development and family science, and dynamic systems theory. My legacy will be that in future generations, no child will spend the night alone on the street wondering why nobody sees them. |

Who would have thought a knot hole could be a portal to see monuments that stand for so much to so many people. I want to pass my legacy of seeing things for their potential onto my son and teach him to see things for all they are and not what he is told they have to be. |

Ideas have intrinsic potential; you must find the way to unlock that potential. My 2D image is a bit hard to understand, but when viewed from the right perspective the potential becomes clear. Be different – take your idea two steps further. This is my legacy. See here: http://www.vanarsdalephoto.com/rdd/reddirt.html |

A playful spirit can lead to amazing, creative things. On a whim, I started a webcomic about university culture. My creations come to life, bringing humor to the mundane and satirizing the frustrating. Leaving a legacy that embraces play and laughter can open our minds to new, unexpected possibilities. |

There are more ways to communicate now more than there ever have been. So then why does it feel so awkward to meet someone new? My goal in life is to connect with others, and to inspire others to value the possibilities that come with each new conversation. |

I find it is often the little things in life that make the most meaningful differences. It takes an open mind to be able to recognize the significance of something seemingly inconsequential. It’s my hope that I can help spark awareness in others to respond thoughtfully to the apparently trivial. |

I woke up one morning, to see the whole room dyed in Orange! This is my call, my passion, and my legacy! Appreciating the little things in life that Nature so gracefully endowed us with. I want the children of the future to connect with Nature and try their best to save it. |

Creativity is in the message itself. As a Development Journalism major from the Philippines, writing extra-ordinary stories from the lives of ordinary people is the best thing I know I can do. Helping them make their voices be heard is the most fulfilling part. |

Through my photos I would like to leave behind the legacy of humor. I believe laughter is important to a happy life and I love to bring a smile to someone’s face simply through a photograph. -”The most wasted of all days is one without laughter.”- E. E. Cummings |

I collect pop tabs and donate them to the Ronald McDonald House. My creativity in finding pop tabs around campus gives hope for future generations. Moms and dads can stay close to their hospitalized children for little or no cost and pounds of aluminum stay out of landfills. |
